The time has finally come for the once underestimated, under appreciated Matt Damon. The time has finally come for this star to shine. No more spamming it, no more waiting by the phone. The newly Oscar winner is America’s Most Wanted and it seems as if the public can’t get enough of the talented actor. He now has more movies, more contracts, and more money lined up in his future than he ever imagined possible.
Success is sometimes described as dangerous. It can overwhelm you. It can change you. But, that’s only if you didn’t have a good solid base before the success. These are things that Matt has admirably overcome.

Though the press may like to compare the two, put them against one another, fellow Glory Daze co-star, close friend, and Hollywood’s last “Golden Boy,” Matthew McConaughey, told Matt just to “enjoy the ride.” Matt has a great respect for Matthew and says that he has such a great take on life that it’s infectious.
It’s not the money, it’s not the fame, and it’s not the recognition that makes Matt Damon successful. It’s the fact that he’s gained the respect and the adoration he’s deserved, yet he takes it in stride. It’s the fact that he hasn’t changed. Smith, longtime friend of the two, felt the need to let them know he’d understand if they wanted out of the movie to capitalize on the public’s sudden craze for the two for more money, bigger films.
